Haiku

This past week has been fairly laid back. I've watched a grotesque amount of anime and played numerous hours of video games--hobbies I haven't had time for in a while, though I'm glad to enjoy these activities once again. As for the Superbowl, I really dislike watching sports on TV, but I felt it was the perfect opportunity to get together with friends I don't see often and meet some new people.

Haiku:

~The harsh midday sun
Shines down upon frozen leaves
That glisten proudly~

  1. This sounds pretty, I could picture how the frozen leaves are proudly glistening. They are letting the sun know that it is not going to harshen the leaves.

  2. I like it. The leaves still have maintained their aesthetic value despite the harsh elements.

Beauty still exists in the barreness of winter...

  3. I like it too. I like how I can picture the sun shining off of the leaves due to the ice that is still upon them. But the leaves are still able to be seen, and that along with the sun help to give hope that nature will continue to circle and spring will be around again soon.
